What types of PDF form fields are supported?

All standard AcroForm field types are supported: text boxes, checkboxes, radio button groups, and dropdown/list selection menus. Each field type gets an input control matched to its function.

What does the flatten option do?

When enabled, flatten bakes every field's current value permanently into the page content and removes the interactive form layer, so the result looks and behaves like a normal, non-editable PDF. Disable it to keep the form fields editable in other apps.

Can I undo a mistake while filling out the form?

Yes, every field change is tracked in a full undo/redo history. Use Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z) to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo, or the undo/redo buttons in the status bar.

What happens if my PDF has no form fields?

The tool will tell you no fillable fields were found. Static, non-interactive PDFs need to be edited with our text and annotation editor instead, which lets you add text manually anywhere on the page.
